На счет картинок есть другой вариант: при клике на иконку "вставить картинку" открываем окно в котором предлагаем пользователю закачать картинку на сервер или выбрать из списка, которые уже есть на сервере. Потом это же окно, закачав картинку, генерит путь к ней (абсолютный, на сервере) и делает в parent execCommand("InsertImage",false,&#... Выпадет меню, где чел задает параметры для картинки и в итоге видит в дезайн-моде картинку подгруженную прямо с сервера. Единственное, что задержки есть на upload/download... Сейчас пробую реализовать...

хма, сходи в ОГИ. не знаю, как тебе покатит, но мне так понравилось. Он такой окололитературный, богемный. Когда я там была там выступал Псой Короленко и американка, которая исполняла русские народные песни в более руской манеры, чем все бабкины вместе взятые. Было супер. |

популярная тема для cms. только все хорошее надо с умом юзать.
а с картинками как-то такой вариант был. в веб-почтах похожее есть.
картинки сначала в "пакет" собираются ( input type=file ) - для закачки, а для локального просмотра пути из input"а в img src подставлять. смысл ясен. |

Вот так бы и сразу... А то отправляют фиг знает куда... ТОлько вот пока я ждал помощи - разобрался сам - не через эти навороты, а простым JavaScript и т.п.
Сам ты эти возможности применял когда-ньть?
Ну а на счет пальцев скажу, что у тебя и на словах получается...

The DHTML Editing Component
The DHTML Editing Component and ActiveX control are still available. They provide similar features to the MSHTML Editor, though they are not customizable. The DHTML Editing Component includes the following features:
Table operations (insert row, insert column, merge cells, and so on).
Absolute drop mode.
Source code white space and formatting preservation.
Active Server Page script preservation.
The DHTML Editing Component ActiveX control provides the functionality of the DHTML Editing Component implemented in an easy-to-use control. The control also adds:
Loading and saving files.
Context menu support.
Keyboard accelerators.
Properties, methods, and events that expose editing functionality.

На словах (или на пальцах) можешь разъяснить как это все делается? Хотябы кратенько - я не тупой пойму...
Скажите хоть где взять список допустимых команд (параметров) для execCommand... |
